Committee for Guideline Development of ADEAP
Due to the Pandemic of Coronavirus in terms of COVID 19, the social life style global wide has been changed a lot. Even though the geographic distance among different countries becomes smaller due to the spread out of this COVID-19 Coronavirus, the social distance between human being should be increased to prevent from being infected.
Many Dental schools have been locked down because of the pandemic. Most of the lecture courses are switched to the online mode to keep on the learning progress for those dental students.
To exchange the information and experience to enhance those clinical skill training courses which are the most important infrastructure of the Dental Education, it is necessary to make a guideline to proceed the clinical skill training courses as well as those lecture courses even under the pandemic situation.
To reach this goal, it’s necessary to organize a Committee to make the guideline for such a challenge like COVID 19 or another pandemic in the future for the Dental Education.
As the President of ADEAP, it is my privilege and great honor to invite Professor Guang Hong to be the Chairman of the Committee to recruit some committee members from different countries for this issue.
By means of this collaboration, I believe we can set up the guidelines for Dental Education to deal with the Pandemic and another challenges in the future.
