Prof. Allen Ming-Lun Hsu exchanged academic cooperation together with Prof. Narumanas Korwanich, Dean of the School of Dentistry, National Chiang Mai University, which is the largest and oldest school of dentistry in Northern Thailand.

There is a dental science museum with a long standing reputation in National Chiang Mai University. The dental science museum exhibits the contribution of the Thai royal family to dentistry in Thailand. The Thai Princess will provide helicopters to carry dental teams and their equipment to rural areas for regular dental service. This kind of charity is deeply loved and appreciated by the Thai people, and has significant influence global wide.

ADEAP hopes to cultivate dentists with care and medical ethic through education. Therefore, experiences such as the dental service in Thailand’s rural regions is worthy of our attention, and be used to improve the quality of dental care in the Asia Pacific region.
